A Walkthrough of Your First Generative AI Review

Our latest update makes it easy to run an assessment using the new Generative AI Lens. The process is seamless and integrated directly into the workflow you already use.

Step 1: Select the Generative AI Lens

In your MontyCloud dashboard, start by creating a new Well-Architected Framework Review (WAFR). In the setup screen, you will see a new field labeled "Lens". The platform automatically pre-selects the standard "AWS Well-Architected Framework" lens, which is the foundation for all reviews and cannot be removed.

Click the dropdown menu to see a list of other available lenses. Simply find and select the "Generative AI Lens" to add it to your review.

Step 2: View Your Generative AI Assessment Dashboard

Once the scan is complete, the assessment dashboard gives you a full overview of your Generative AI workload's posture. The "Lens Highlights" section will now show the specific pillars and progress for the Generative AI Lens.

This view allows you to see exactly how your workload stacks up against AWS best practices for building and operating Generative AI applications.

Step 3: Analyze and Report on Generative AI Findings

On the "Findings" page, you can easily identify issues related to your Generative AI architecture. The results from the lens scan will appear alongside your standard framework findings, allowing you to prioritize remediation.

When you are ready to share the results, you can export a detailed report. The report will include all the findings from the Generative AI Lens, providing clear documentation for your technical teams and business stakeholders.
